Puerto in the spring and summer: if it’s not the heat, it’s the humidity. We welcome the rain, but not the floods. Yet, many visitors prefer the “low” season to the “high” one. Hotel rates go down and it’s easier to find a rental. Plus, you are more likely to find good waves for surfing. The best part of the off season, however, is the super, laid-back vibe.
This issue is devoted to all the fun things you can do in Puerto, if you choose to get out of your hammock. But please, do not expect good internet connections. Consider it an opportunity to commune with nature and to make new off-line friends.
